Electronic vacuum pressure switch signal converter

The signal conversion principle of electronic vacuum pressure switches mainly involves several key links such as pressure perception, signal conversion and processing, signal comparison and judgment, and output control. The following is a detailed introduction:

Pressure perception

Electronic vacuum pressure switches use sensors to sense pressure changes in vacuum systems. Common sensors include piezoresistive, capacitive or magnetic sensitive types, etc. When the pressure within the vacuum system changes, the sensitive elements inside the sensor will undergo corresponding physical changes under the effect of pressure. For example, the sensitive resistor in a piezoresistive sensor will have its resistance value change due to pressure variations. The capacitance value of a capacitive sensor will change due to variations in the plate spacing or dielectric constant caused by pressure. Magnetic-sensitive sensors may cause changes in the magnetic field due to pressure.

Signal conversion and processing

The sensor converts the perceived pressure changes into electrical signals. This electrical signal is usually relatively weak and needs to undergo processing operations such as amplification, filtering and calibration through a signal processing unit. The amplification circuit can enhance the weak electrical signal to an appropriate amplitude for subsequent processing. The filter circuit can remove the noise and interference in the signal and improve the quality of the signal. The calibration circuit can perform zero-point and full-scale calibration on the sensor to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. The processed electrical signal will form standardized analog signals, such as 4-20mA or 0-10V, or be converted into digital signals.

Signal comparison and judgment

The signal processing unit compares the processed electrical signal with the preset pressure threshold. The preset pressure threshold can be set according to actual needs. For instance, in industrial automated production, to ensure the normal operation of equipment and product quality, it is necessary to set an appropriate vacuum pressure range. When the electrical signal exceeds or falls below the preset pressure threshold, the signal processing unit will determine that the pressure state of the vacuum system is abnormal.

Output control

Based on the results of signal comparison and judgment, the output device will perform corresponding operations. The common output methods include analog signal output and switch output. Analog signal output can transmit pressure values in the form of continuous electrical signals to other devices for real-time monitoring and display. The switch output can control the on and off of the circuit according to the pressure state. For example, when the vacuum pressure is lower than the set value, the switch output is connected, triggering the alarm device or starting the backup equipment to ensure the normal operation of the system.
