Abnormal problem of pressure display on the vacuum pressure switch

Abnormal pressure display of the vacuum pressure switch may be caused by the following reasons:

Calibration issue: The calibration of the pressure switch transmitter is incorrect, which may cause the action value of the pressure switch to not match the actual vacuum value. The pressure switch needs to be recalibrated to ensure its accuracy.

Design issue of the pressure tapping pipe: The design of the pressure tapping pipe of the pressure transmitter is unreasonable. For instance, the middle part of the connecting pipe is designed in a U shape, which may cause water accumulation during the water filling test, thereby affecting the normal operation of the pressure switch. At this time, the design of the pressure tapping pipe should be improved. For example, the transmitter should be installed nearby on the exhaust cylinder side to avoid water accumulation problems.

Seal failure: Damage to the valve diaphragm, diaphragm spring or vent valve, resulting in seal failure, may cause the pressure switch to fail to display pressure normally. Damaged parts need to be inspected and replaced to ensure good sealing.

Pipeline blockage: Blockage of the vent hole or the entry of dirt into the system may lead to inaccurate pressure measurement. The vent holes need to be unblocked to keep the pipeline clean and prevent dirt from blocking it.

Spring or valve failure: If the diaphragm spring is jammed, the air hole on the vent valve is blocked, or the spring of the vent check valve is jammed, it may cause the pressure switch to fail to work properly. The relevant components need to be replaced to ensure that the spring and the valve can operate normally.

Air leakage problem: Air leakage between the upper and lower shells, or air leakage caused by aging of the valve diaphragm, will affect the measurement accuracy of the pressure switch. It is necessary to inspect and replace the sealing ring, fastening bolts or valve diaphragm to ensure there is no air leakage.

Installation or location issues: Incorrect installation location or insecure installation may affect the performance of the pressure switch. It is necessary to ensure that the pressure switch is installed in the appropriate position and is firmly installed.

Environmental factors: Extreme temperatures, high humidity or corrosive environments may damage the internal components of the pressure switch. Attention should be paid to the installation environment, and protective measures should be taken when necessary.
